Las Vegas Open Lapping for 2008 are scheduled for May 2nd-4th.
Drivers Ed and Open Lapping are scheduled for Friday, May 2nd through Sunday May 4th in conjunction with the
Las Vegas Club Race
at the "outer track" of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Las Vegas Open Lapping
More sessions have been added including Drivers Ed (DE) for the
2008 Las Vegas Open Lapping held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) on the Outfield Road Course (ORC), using the FULL configuration.
PCA Open Lapping, May 2-4, 2008
Friday-Sunday Open Lapping for DE and Solo Drivers*
Held in conjunction with the PCA Club Race
*We have now added additional Open Lapping run groups on all days available to both advanced solo drivers and DE students.
Open Lapping applicants must provide the name and phone number of their club/region chief instructor if they wish to drive solo without an instructor.
The PCA LVR chief instructor will verify every applicant's eligibility to drive solo under PCA DE regulations.
Certified PCA High Performance Driving School DE Instructors will be available to issue sign-offs for everyone else.
Comprehensive Drivers Education will also be offered for beginner students.
OPEN LAPPING IS NOT A RACE SCHOOL, AND RACING DURING THE Open Lapping SESSIONS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION WITH NO REFUND!
All registration and tech inspections will be at the track. The HQ hotel, Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, is downtown, which is inconvenient for trailers and transporters. The track will be open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM for drop-off, registration, and tech.

There will be a $25 service charge for returned checks. Please do not send cash.
ELIGIBILITY: All participants must be 18 years of age or older. PCA club racers must be approved by PCA National.
TRACK SCHEDULE: Gates open at 7:00 AM. We start registration at 7:00am at the track on the days of the event. DONT BE LATE: NO ONE WILL BE REGISTERED AFTER 8:00 A.M. The event schedule will be provided to you at registration.
CANCELLATIONS: No cash refunds. Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the event will be given full credit for a future event. Cancellations received between 7 & 14 days prior to the event will receive 50% credit for a future event. Cancellations within 7 days of the event receive no credit.
CONFIRMATIONS: Registration confirmations will go out approximately two weeks prior to the event and will be sent via e-mail.
All drivers must accomplish a tech inspection on their cars before the event. Download a tech inspection form HERE. A final safety compliance inspection will be done at the track.
Helmets must be Snell Certified SA-00 or newer. No exceptions! Long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and closed-toe shoes are required.
Las Vegas Region reserves the right to refuse any registrant and the right to remove any participant or guest during the event for violation of Las Vegas Region rules or for any improper conduct.
