Although not always required, each participant in our Driver-Ed program is advised to bring a small hardcover notebook to be
used as a Student Log Book that can be used to record their progress. This applies to new and established drivers as well,
and it is a good idea to have this log book available for inspection at any time throughout the weekend.
Our purpose is to educate and to learn from participation in the Drivers Ed program and the log book
will help both Instructor and student to take notes at the Introductory Course and during the drivers meetings and also
keep a record of their involvement in order to establish a baseline for future development.
Your personal details (name, address etc.) should be entered on the first page and the event details (date, track, region, run-group)
entered in the next available section. You may wish to adhere your PCA Membership Card onto the first or second page.
After presentation of your PCA Membership Card, drivers license and Tech Inspection Form
at registration, ask the Registrar to stamp or sign it. The other areas (Track Conditions, Run Group, Instructor Name, and Instructor Comments)
for each day of the event can then be filled out by you accordingly. Be sure to enter comments and advice from your Instructor after every session,
and ask your Instructor to sign it and add some of their own comments if time allows before the end of the day.
